I worked at this American Express site which is just north of the Arizona Canal on 25th Avenue. I wrote C software that ran on IBM AIX computers. AIX is a flavor of UNIX.
American Express is a joke. I probably worked there 6 months and maybe wrote 100 lines of code max. Everybody else was just as productive. All the contractors quit when American Express decided to fire us. As always American Express acts so slowly that we all had found jobs before AMEX got a chance to fire us.
While I was working here the transformer that powers the building blew up sprewing PCB oil everywhere. We didn't work that day.
Also I was on call one or two weeks for nights. I didn't do too well.
I also worked at the American Express on 16th Street and Camelback at the Arboleda. Really its on 16th Street and Highland.
